Simple to start.
Fun to master.
No app download required. Just your phone camera, a free account, and a sense of adventure.
Three simple steps
Create a free account
Sign up at qcmm.app — all you need is an email address. Already have an account? Just sign in. Your profile tracks every pin you collect and your XP total.
Find QR codes at locations
QR codes are posted at festival spots across downtown Staunton. Check the Locations map to plan your route, or discover them as you wander. Keep your eyes open — some are hidden in plain sight.
Scan, check in, earn your pin
Open your phone's native camera app, point it at the QR code, and tap the link that appears. Your pin is recorded instantly and XP is added to your profile. No separate app needed — it works entirely in your browser.
Scanning tips
Use your phone's native camera app — no extra app to download.
Hold steady and point at the center of the QR code until a link pops up.
If you're not signed in, you'll be redirected to login first. After signing in you'll bounce right back to complete the check-in.
Scanning the same code twice is safe — you'll just see a friendly "already checked in" message.
Common questions
Do I need to download an app?
Nope. QCMM.app runs entirely in your mobile browser. No App Store, no Google Play — just scan and go.
What exactly is a "pin"?
A pin is a verified digital check-in at a physical festival location. Think of it like a digital stamp in a passport.
Can I check in to the same location twice?
Each location records one pin per account. Double-scanning the same code is harmless — it just won't add another pin.
Is it free to sign up?
Yes, completely. Creating an account and collecting pins costs nothing.
What do I win?
Your pins are displayed on your profile and the Members leaderboard. Organizers may announce prizes — keep an eye on the Community board for announcements.
I scanned the code but nothing happened. What do I do?
Make sure you have a data connection, try a different browser (Chrome or Safari work best), or manually type the URL shown below the QR code into your browser.
